Pros

Great price.
Samsung CLP-315 is compact.
Quiet.
Great and easy paper handling including envelopes.
Screamingly fast in black and white. Incredible for folks who print mostly in black and white and only sometimes in color.
Very nice looking machine.
Easy Setup.
High quality output.
The CD has Linux, Mac, and Windows drivers on it, and the Linux drivers work adequately.
Great web interface that works with Safari and Seamonkey/Firefox on GNU/Linux.

Cons

Samsung CLP-315 Supplies expensive, but the cost per page drops with larger capacity replacement cartridges.
Samsung CLP-315 does not support auto two-sided printing.
Slow printing for color pages (15 sec/page average).
You do smell the toner warming up.
Doesn’t come with USB printer cord, you need to supply one of your own.

Color prints are not photo quality, but they are good marketing-brochure quality.
Only USB connectivity.
Samsung CLP-315 needs print server for networking.
Paper tray is a bit small.
