We have had this bag since 1999 and it is still in great shape! We used Rick Steve’s navy bag, his books(the best), and his silk money bags on a trip to Europe in 1999. They were all wonderful and we had a trip of a life-time on a budget, thanks to Rick Steves. My husband and I both have the covertable carry-on and this was our “large” bag for our trip. We traveled light across Europe and moved quickly on and off trains and around countries(felt sorry for people with big bags with wheels on stone streets).

When I opened the Rick STeves I was immediately impressed. I thought it was going to be big and bulky…NOT! THe pockets on the outside are soooooooooooooo deep and roomy and the inside is great, OMG!! It will accomodate everything I need and then some, there are so many pockets. It fits comfortably on my back and the waist belt really secures it comfortably. I will have no problem finding things and manuevering around the airport with a toddler and her stroller.
