JanSport Elefunk is a stylish messenger bag. It is great for every day student or work routine, and convenient for traveling as well. There are useful zipped compartments for easy accessories organization. The main compartment is roomy, can be used as a laptop carrier.

There are a number of zippered compartments on the body of the bag. The front flap also has a small pocket for easy access externally which, is secured by clips that attach to the bottom of the bag. Beneath the flap is another zippered compartment that is very handy. It has a number of pockets, a key ring, among other areas to keep yourself organized, this zippered area provides a secure place to carry a wallet or music player without having the worry of being pick-pocketed. We live in Chicago and this is a wonderful commuter bag as well. The strap has an adjustable pad for heavier loads as well as a padded back for wearing while biking. There is also a netted external pouch for bottles. The main compartment of the bag is secured by a long zipper that runs the length of the opening and also has a padded divider for occasionally transporting any size laptop.

I was a bit skeptical buying this bag even though the reviews were good, but I was pleasantly surprised. I took this bag on my trip to Hong Kong and boy was it worth it. My T61 laptop fit in snugly into it along with a set of change of clothes. The bag has ample space inside to fit a few books and also enough zipper pouches on the side to hold your misc. items like coins, pens, mp3 players, chargers, cords etc. Access to these pouches is very convenient especially at the airport security line, where you can slip in your cellphones, wallet, coins without having to open the main flap.
