What do people say
Some Positive
The sound of these Coby earphones is decent, they also have good bass and pretty good noise reduction. The noise reduction is not as great as some of the sub $100 earphones I have used but is good enough for listening on a plane ride. This is probably the best noise reduction you can get in the sub $20 range!
Comfort:
These are one of the more comfortable in ear phones I’ve owned. The flex rubber sleeves are thinner than usual and fit comfortably in the ear. I can wear them for hours without feeling any discomfort. They also don’t fall out which is a big plus. The only in ear headphone that was more comfortable than these is the Philips SE9850 that came with memory foam sleeves that molds to fit your ears.

Thus, I’m always looking for ear buds that will stay in my ears, produce acceptable sound for activities outdoors where there’s ambient noise, and survive routine use. If I want concert hall sound, I’ll go to a concert hall or at least sit quietly in my living room with a big pair of Bose over my ears. For the price, these are really hard to beat.

Some Negative
Unfortunately they both have an average life span of about 3 months, though the jbuds may last a bit longer. One ear will stop working eventually for no reason I can think of. I bought these 3 times and the jbuds twice so I know what I’m taking about.

The bottom line is that these sound great and fit comfortably, but the low price comes from the lack in quality and durability. If you don’t plan to use these heavily then I’d recommend them, but otherwise I’d go with the JBuds first because they tend to last a little longer and have better warranty support.
